INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
Central to the Kelly System is a ‘state-of -the-art’ programmable logic controller. Combined with modern hydraulic pump servo controls, it provides the system with the ability to optimise the performance of the press.
Years of design and software development ensure that our program produces a fast smooth press cycle. Dead cycle times are significantly reduced, often to less than the original press manufacturer's specification.

IMPROVED QUALITY
Absolutely accurate extrusn speed control is essential to achieve consistently good quality. This can only be achieved by closed loop extrusion speed control. The Kelly System is accurate to within 0.1mm per second from the beginning of the billet to the end of extrusion.

REDUCED DOWNTIME
The reliability of the Kelly system means a smoother, shock free cycle reducing mechanical maintenance and prolonging the press life.

FEEDBACK
The Kelly System’s automatic fault diagnostics identifies faults on the press instantly and visually displays on a monitor the exact location of the fault. The alarm system gives early warning of potential problems.
A typical modernisation produces at least a 10 % or more overall increase in productivity.

SERVICE
System designs are produced on AutoCAD / MS Visio and passed to the customer, enabling electrical and hydraulic documentation to be kept up-to-date. Engineers are on standby to answer any technical or process queries by telephone, fax or e-mail.
